Creation of Pseudonymous User Profiles for Purposes of Web Analysis

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis provider of Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable analysis of the use of the website by you. The information about your use of this website generated by the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In case the IP anonymization on this website is activated, however, your IP address will first be abbreviated by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other Member States of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there only in exceptional cases. Upon request of the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to render further services relating to the use of the website and the internet to the website operator. Thereby, the content of the plug-in is transferred to your browser and subsequently integrated into the website presented by it. Insofar, the information that you have used our website is forwarded to Google. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data is provided to the shipping company retained to deliver your merchandise, if this is necessary to deliver the merchandise. In order to process payment, we will transfer your payment details to our payment providers and to the credit card institution mandated with the payment.

Integration of Social Media Offers

In order to make our internet offer more user friendly for our users, we temporarily offer social plug-ins by selected social media platforms such as e.g. Facebook or Twitter. These plug-ins are generally marked by a logo of the respective platform and a written supplement. As soon as you open a page with a corresponding plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection to its servers. This primarily serves to present the content of the plug-in. In this case, the platform provider will learn about your IP address. In practice, this IP address cannot be matched to your name. Under certain circumstances, the platform provider may place a cookie onto your computer in this process (see: Use of Cookies). You can decide whether you will accept such cookies by the way you set your browser settings. Facebook is a practical example:

Use of Facebook Social Plug-ins

This website uses so-called Social Plug-ins ("Plug-ins") of the social network Facebook which is operated by  Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The Plug-ins are marked with a Facebook logo or the supplement “Social Plug-in of Facebook” or “Facebook Social Plug-in”. An overview of the Facebook Plug-ins and their design may be accessed here: developers.facebook.com/plugins

If you open a site of our web presence which contains such a Plug-in, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the Plug-in will be transferred directly to your browser by Facebook and will be integrated into the website by it.

By integrating the Plug-ins, Facebook will receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding site of our web presence even if you do not have a Facebook account or if you are not logged into Facebook at the time. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can match your visit of our website directly to your Facebook account. If you are interacting with the Plug-ins, e.g. click the “Like It” button or leave a comment, the corresponding information is also directly transmitted to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will further be published on Facebook and presented to your Facebook friends.

Facebook may use this information for purposes of marketing, market research and demand driven design of the Facebook pages. To this end, Facebook generates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. in order to evaluate your use of our website with a view to the promotional adds shown to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to provide further services related to the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to match the data Facebook collects via our web presence to your Facebook account you must log out of Facebook prior to visiting our website.

Purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your related rights and objection possibilities to protect your privacy can be viewed in the Facebook data protection policy: www.facebook.com/policy.php
